The Môreson
Vintage Collection
Forty distinct vintages from a private cellar — released this season by the case, or in unrepeatable mixed selections.
A cellar begins.
In the autumn of 1996, Môreson bottled its first significant Cabernet Sauvignon. Three decades later, fifty-one bottles of that vintage remain in private storage — the oldest holdings of the collection.
The Reds.
From the Magia Bordeaux blends through Mata Mata, Cabernet Franc and the Pinotage lineage — Môreson's red catalogue, spanning twenty-six vintages. Some have been waiting since the late nineties.
The Chardonnays.
Eighteen of Môreson's thirty-five hectares are planted to Chardonnay — the cultivar that defines the farm. Mercator Premium and Dr Reason Why, twelve years deep in some cases.
The Sweetness.
Fudge — Môreson's petrified dessert wine, the first Chardonnay straw wine ever made in South Africa. Grapes are pinched on the vine, left to raisin, then pressed for a marmalade-thick syrup. Half-bottles only.
Six bottles.
No two alike.

Each case is hand-curated from across the cellar — older Cab Sauv, library Magia, late-vintage Pinotage and Chardonnay. No two mixed cases are identical.
